An uninitiated simpleton’s answer to Russian war Crimes against the Ukrainians

In my lifetime I’ve not seen an attack that is much less provoked or unjustified than the Russian’s attack of the Ukrainians.

What are so-called world courts for if not for this kind of event?

Why are Vladimir Putin and his band of military leadership not all brought up on international war-crimes charges? The entire enterprise is a war crime. Why treat it, him, or his any differently?

I don’t suppose we can stroll into Russia and arrest them. But they can be tried in abstentia, convicted as appropriate, and treated like the international pariahs and war criminals that they are: Issue international war-crimes warrants for their arrests, put dead or alive bounties on their heads, and let the markets do their jobs.

What is it about the rationales of international power-elitists that allows a response that’s any less decisive or concrete? Why is this not even on the table of discussion for international talking-heads? And then, whatever the reason, let’s fix it.
